LIONEL PEARCE CAMEO VASE. Rare and exceptional cameo vase has stylized windblown trees in green cameo against a light green transparent background. The trunks of the trees are cut through to sporadic areas of white glass giving the trees a wonderful depth and texture. Cameo design extends around the entire vase with various shades of green outlining a distant forest. This very artistic vase is signed on the underside “Lionel Pearce”. Lionel Pearce was a member of Thomas Webb & Sons Woodall Team and is generally credited as creating the Polar Vase. SIZE: 9-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with one small chip on bottom edge of foot. 5-60327 (2,500-3,500)
