Outstanding oil on canvas autumn landscape showing a small herd of eight cows, three standing in water while the others are on green pasture. Beyond is nestled a farmhouse with barns between colorful trees. Rolling blue hills beyond under a cloud and blue sky. Signed lower left. Housed in a good gesso decorated wood frame. The back on canvas retaining an original typed label “From the Exhibition of Contemporary American Art New York World’s Fair, 1939″ stating title, artist, etc. SIZE: 26″ x 36”.
