TWO CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN TABLE WARES. 19th century. The first a teapot polychrome decorated overall with insects and marked beneath the base with a crown above a “D”. The second an oval dish polychrome painted within a landscape and four insects within the border with the word “Nymphenburg” beneath the base under glaze. SIZE: 4-3/4″ h (teapot); 8-1/2″ x 7″ (plate). PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Teapot is very good overall with slight and minimal wear to gilding. The oval plate with some wear to painted surfaces on interior. 9-23324 (400-600)
