*1911 DATED 1908 DWM LUGER WITH HOLSTER. SN 7732 L. Cal. 9 mm. 4″ Barrel has SN and “8.83” on bottom, with military proof on top. Receiver has standard military proofs on right side, “1911” on ring, and “32” on lug. Sear has not been altered. Frame has smooth backstrap (no stock lug), Front strap is stamped “19.T.S.2.176.” It is marked “Gesichert” in top safety position. Front is stamped “7732” and “L”. Toggle has DWM logo on center link. Extractor is marked “Geladen”. All other part numbers match, with the exception of the grips, which are marked “82”. Tin-plated magazine has beech base plug numbered “4115” and “c”. Black military holster is marked with Waffenampt (“C D G 44”) with spare magazine, and takedown tool. Takedown tool is marked with Waffenampt “65”. Back of holster has, written in pencil, “Wick” and under flap is “Dunkel”. Spare magazine with walnut base plug has proofs, and no “2354” and “a”. CONDITION: Excellent. All metal retains 90% original blue, silvered at muzzles, high points of receiver, front of frame, and front strap, especially around unit markings. Back strap is turning to brown. Frame wells are clean and shiny. Sideplate is silvering at edges and trigger lever boss. Approximately 50% original straw remains on takedown latch, trigger, and safety lever. Grips show slight wear, and are somewhat dirty, with a few compressions on left side, and two or three missing diamonds on right. Bore is fine with strong rifling, shiny, but slightly frosted. Magazine base plug has a repaired crack. Holster is very good, with numerous scuffs and abrasions from use. Spare magazine is fine, as is takedown tool. 4-39244 MGM86 (2,000-3,000)
