WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE BUTTERFLY LADY VASE. Beautiful Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre trumpet shaped vase is decorated with a butterfly lady sitting atop a branch of a flowering tree with bright yellow flowers and green leaves against a midnight lustre background. The foot of the vase is decorated with gold gilt freeform lines, while the top of the vase is bordered with a band of yellow birds in flight. Signed on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and “Z4968 T”. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to the gilt decoration on the foot. 5-69676 (5,000-7,000)
