*REMINGTON MODEL 03A4 SNIPER RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 4996606. Standard 03A4 with 24″ rnd bbl dated “RA / 12-43”. It has full-length hand guard and 1-pc semi-pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate with trap. The metal is a bright gray/green parkerized finish. The receiver ring is properly marked with the offset maker’s name on the left side and serial number on the right side to accommodate the Redfield 1-pc scope base. It is mounted with a military scope with post reticle, believed to be an M8 (the markings are covered with the rear ring as are parts of the serial and stock numbers). Each visible part of the scope, including the caps, bears a part number. The left side of the buttstock has a square cartouche with the initials “RIA / EB”. The stock also has a dbl large “P” proof on the bottom of the grip and the usual assembler and inspector marks on the bottom of the forestock. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus, possibly unfired, retaining virtually all of its orig finish to both metal and wood. Stock has one or two small storage nicks and dings. Scope retains most all of its orig blue finish with fine optics. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-53735 JR28 (2,000-3,000)
