THREE DIMINUTIVE ROSE MEDALLION VASES. Second half 19th century. A near pair with scalloped everted rim above a long neck with applied gilt foo dog handles and four salamanders at the shoulders, the cylindrical bodies decorated with alternating panels of domestic life, flora, and fauna. The third and smallest, with everted scalloped rim applied with salamanders at the neck and shoulder decorated with panels of a domestic sceneS opposing a floral decorated panel within spread-wing bat borders. SIZE: Tallest: 10-1/4″ h. Shortest: 6″ h. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection. CONDITION: Of the near pair, one with minor roughness to rim edges, the second with professional repair running the circumference at the shoulder.
