FULLY RIGGED PLANK MODEL OF THE SWEDISH SHIP “WASA”, 1628. The three masted galleon built by Henrik Hybertsson, commissioned by the King of Sweden. Fitted with three decks of canon and ornately appointed statues, etc. She sank within 20 minutes of launching, raised in 1961 by the Swedish Government she is restored and on display at the Stockholm Naval Museum. This model is most likely a museum replica, and is mounted in a custom glass standing case. SIZE: 32”h of model x 36”l x 9-1/2”w. CONDITION: In new, untouched condition. 9-73897 MD (1,200-1,800)
