RARE FOUR ARM STUDENT LAMP. Extremely rare student lamp has four arms extending from an adjustable center reservoir, very possibly used in a library or as a banker’s lamp. Lamp has nickel-plated finish and applied brass tag marked “Bright & Co. Late Argand & Co. Bruton St”. The gallery on each burner is impressed “Manhattan Brass Co. New York Pat’d May 23 76 – Dec. 25 77 – May 20 79”. Topped with four white milk glass shades. SIZE: 25-1/2″ t. CONDITION: One shade has chip out of top rim and crack on side. Second shade has two chunks missing out of fitter rim, which are mostly concealed when shade is in place. Otherwise very good. 5-70220 (7,200-8,000)
