*RARE STEYR SEMI-AUTO CARBINE. Cal. 8 mm Steyr. Tiny little carbine with 11-3/4” round bbl, military-style front sight and 2-leaf receiver mounted sight. It has a pistol-type receiver with box magazine and a full length round forearm with single band with a sling loop. It has a semi pistol grip stock with smooth steel buttplate and a slot through the butt for a sling. SN 767. The magazine bears several numbers, none of which match the SN of the chambre. CONDITION: Good plus. The receiver retains about 20% dull, original blue with the balance a mottled blue-brown patina with some cleaning scratches on both sides. The stock has a couple of hairlines back of the tang, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish. Worn dark bore. 4-50150 JR421 (6,000-10,000)
