*DWM LUGER 1902 CARBINE. Cal. 30 Luger. Great carbine with 11-3/4” tapered round bbl with ramp front sight and 300 meter rear sight. It has a checkered tiny schnable tip forearm, secured with a single wedge through oval German silver escutcheons and with a sling loop. It has full checkered walnut grips and an unnumbered stainless steel body wood-based magazine. It is accompanied by its original matching numbered detachable buttstock with straight checkered wrist and serrated horn buttplate with a sling loop. SN 23613. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains 97-99% strong bright original blue with 3 small pitted rust spots on the left side of bbl that appear to be blood spots, and a few scattered other spots. Otherwise the front strap and left side of the frame have a few scattered very fine spots of light rust with the balance bright, strong and original. Retains 50-60% original dull straw colors, brighter on the sides of the trigger and fine on the ejector. Wood is sound and retains most of its original strong varnish with very light wear on the diamond points of the checkering and having a few minor handling and storage marks with a small bruise in the checkering on the wrist.
