TWO CREAMWARE DECORATED PITCHERS TOGETHER WITH LIVERPOOL AESOP TILE. 18th and 19th centuries. 1) Creamware jug titled “John & Elizabeth Snowdon”, paint decorated with farm scenes. 2) Gilt and paint decorated creamer titled “George Mears Boston”, side panel painted with interior scene of gentleman getting mustache trimmed above slogan “We Three Loggerheads be”. 3) Tile black transfer decorated with one of Aesop’s fables. SIZE: 1) 7-1/2″ h. 2) 4″ h. 3) 5″ square. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones.
