TWO BLUE AND WHITE CHARGERS IN ORIENTAL TASTE. 18th/19th century. The first charger, an unmarked example, with convex center, floral decorated in underglaze-blue with alternating reserves. The second decorated overall with a western landscape, two exaggerated female figures in the foreground all in underglaze-blue. The reverse marked with a single blue stripe. SIZE: 14″ dia.; 13″ dia. respectively. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: With restoration and damage to both. The first with extensive rim chips in addition to restoration. 9-23216 (500-800)
