LOT OF THREE MILITARY 1903A3 RIFLES. Cal. 30-06. (1) U.S. Smith-Corona. SN 3642132. Usual configuration, Parkerized finish, 24” Smith Corona “2-43” dated bbl, standard sights & stamped trigger guard/floorplate. Has upside down cartouche “FJA” in rectangle on left side of stock & a small ordnance wheel with a “P” cartouche behind trigger guard. CONDITION: Good. Retains about 95% orig Parkerized finish with usual nicks, dings, scratches & bruises on wood & some heavier gouges on right side of wrist. Mechanics are good, bore is extremely fine. (2) Remington. SN 4179792. Usual configuration, Parkerized finish, 24” “12-43” dated Remington bbl, standard sights with stamped trigger guard/floorplate. Has “FJA” & “RA” cartouches with small ordnance wheel on left side of wrist with small “OG” on left side of stock with a “P” & a number of other small cartouches on bottom of stock. CONDITION: Overall exceptionally fine. As new, possibly unfired. Retains virtually all of its orig finish overall with minor nicks & scratches & one deep ding on left side of forearm. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. (3) Remington. SN 3728275. Usual configuration, parkerized finish, with “9-43” dated 24” Remington bbl. Mounted in 1-pc walnut stock with handguard that has “FJA” & “RA” proofs with a small ordnance wheel on left side, a “P” & other small proofs on bottom. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl & receiver retain about all of their orig finish. Follower has been ground & bolt handle bent for scope mounting, missing rear sight. Wood is fine & retains about all of its orig oil finish.
