MARY GREGORY VICTORIAN GLASS GLOVE BOX. Very rare Victorian glass glove box shows children playing the game of skittles in white against a background glass that appears black, but when lit is actually dark purple. This box is further enhanced with a leaf pattern to sides. Finishing the box is ornate metal hardware consisting of two handles and four ornate feet. Numbers “01” are enameled on interior. SIZE: 4″ t x 8-1/2″ l x 3-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with scratches on bottom consistent with age. Missing key. 5-61943 (800-1,200)
