*REMINGTON MODEL 03-A3 NATIONAL MATCH. SN 3545640. These rifles are so rare that most people deny their existence. Rifle comes with shipping receipt from Raritan Arsenal as well as the orig shipping carton that is stenciled with all the pertinent information on the gun including inspection, shipping, national match labeling, etc. CONDITION: Rifle is as new with no significant markings or wears anywhere. It appears to have been shot very little, if at all. Receiver retains 99% of its orig green Parkerized finish with just the slightest amount of wear from having the bolt opened and closed and a slight mark from the magazine cut off being moved. Magazine cut off is “R” marked. Rifle has a Redfield Micrometer sight mounted to the left side of the receiver as should be. Bolt body is polished with just the slightest bit of speckling from storing. Cocking assembly, etc is “R” marked. Bbl retains 98% finish with some slight markings from storage. Front bbl band is “R” marked and retains 99% of finish with just slightest bit of wear on the bayonet lug. Stacking swivel band is in 98% condition with just a couple of light rub marks. Middle band is in 98% plus condition with one or two very light rub marks on it. Buttstock shows nearly new with just a couple of light scratches that would probably come out with a little wood polish. Buttstock is of the “c” type with no cartouche or inspection marks. Buttplate assembly is National Match standard checkered buttplate in 99% condition. Trigger guard and floorplate assembly is “03” with 98% Parkerizing with blued screws. Handguard assembly is in excellent condition with two or three very light storage dings approximately 2 – 3” from front band from presumable rack storage. Orig shipping box is in good condition with a couple of minor holes and some tattering to the corners. No doubt this is orig shipping box for this gun. Rifle shows as new and would be a magnificent addition to any 03 collection or as an example of the rarest of the rare. 4-57823 BK68 (4,000-6,000)
