*REMINGTON MODEL 1903-A3. Cal. 7.62 mm. SN 4157413. This rifle is equipped with a Mann bbl. Mann bbls were massive bbls with integral rings on which bbl slides when placed in a heavy “V” block. They were used by Ordnance Dept. for testing commercially purchased ammunition. CONDITION: Receiver appears to be in as new condition. Remington 03A3 receiver with a green parkerized finish retaining 98-99% orig finish. Bolt is a black Parkerized Remington 03A3 bolt in 98% orig condition. Bbl is in the white with an electric pencil inscription reading “Rifle accuracy 7.62 mm / D7553790”. Bbl also has electric pencil approx. 8” from muzzle the number “171”. Sleeve has a black oxide finish. Trigger housing assembly is in approx. 80% condition with scratches & scuff marks throughout. Buttstock assembly is cut off just forward of trigger guard assembly in front & just to rear of pistol grip. Wood shows dents & dings throughout.
