ANTHONY VANDYKE COPLEY FIELDING (British, 1787-1855) “PASSING SHOWERS”. Fine watercolor landscape scene shows two pairs of figures walking in rolling fields with deer in the foreground. All looking towards a distant town which is experiencing a passing shower. Signed bottom center “Copley Fielding 1822″. Housed in an antique and possibly original gilt frame with gold matte which has title, artist & date. SIZE: Sight: 8″ x 11-1/2”. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones.
