*RARE POST WAR KRIEGHOFF LUGER WITH HOLSTER. SN n1047.. Cal. 9 mm. Rare Krieghoff Luger with 4″ bbl, crown “N” proof on front toggle link & crown “U” (Vopo era Krieghoff proof) on frame & receiver. Most parts have matching numbers, including the renumbered magazine. Some parts are unnumbered or have numbers that have been XXed out. All parts are correct for this pistol including Vopo plastic grips. Accompanied by a black leather post-war police style Luger holster. This pistol was made in the early 1950’s when Krieghoff tooled up to make Lugers but very few were manufactured. The finish is fairly crude with many visible tool marks. This is one of the most rare of the post-war Krieghoffs. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. Overall retains 99%+ strong orig factory blue. Grips are extremely fine & magazine is near mint. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. Holster is extremely fine with minor scuffs & some crackling on strap. 4-36143 JR213 & BS (4,000-6,000)
