ROYAL FLEMISH ART GLASS VASE. Royal Flemish vase decorated with a winged mythological creature in gold is surrounded in panels of rose, blue and lavender separated by raised gold gilding and art nouveau scroll work. The collar is decorated with gold gilded stylized flowers and leaves all set against an amethyst background. The backside of the vase is ornately decorated. A similar example is pictured in the book Mt. Washington Art Glass plus Webb Burmese Identification & Value Guide by Betty B. Sisk on page 192. SIZE: 14″ t.
