*1903 SPRINGFIELD NATIONAL MATCH RIFLE. Cal 30-06. SN 1271836. 24” star gauge bbl dated “7 – 29”. Polished bolt with SN to gun. Bright shiny bore. “C” stock with drawing board number and “D.A.L.” inspector mark. Proper 03-A1 sight with checkered buttplate. Mechanically perfect. CONDITION: Receiver shows 98-99% finish as does the bbl and bands. One very minor scuff on floorplate, appears to be only finish wear on gun. Wood is in excellent plus condition with the exception of two small nicks on the right side around the pistol grip, the larger one being 3/8” by 1/2” by approx. 1/8” deep. A very fine example of an 03-A1 National Match. 4-57801 BK19 (2,500-3,500)
