MT. WASHINGTON ROYAL FLEMISH GEESE VASE. Magnificent Royal Flemish vase is decorated with snow geese in flight against a large sunburst with surrounding panels of blue and teal separated by raised gold gilding and stars. The collar is decorated with gold gilded stylized flowers and leaves surrounding three winged griffins all set against an amethyst background. The backside of the vase is decorated with gilded stars and two additional geese in flight. A similar example is pictured in the book Mt. Washington Art Glass Identification & Value Guide by Betty B.
