MOSER SALAMANDER PITCHER. Moser amber glass pitcher is heavily decorated with enameled flowers, stems and leaves with butterflies, insects and a winged dragon. The pitcher has a clear glass gilded spout and neck terminating into heavy drippings. The neck is decorated with a band of brightly enameled flying insects. The pitcher is finished with a gilded and enameled salamander handle extending around the side of the pitcher. Pictured in the book as well as on the cover of Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 89, plate 109. SIZE: 11″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection.
