*1903 SPRINGFIELD RIFLE.

*1903 SPRINGFIELD RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 1216937. 24” bbl dated “4-21”. Very nice example of a Springfield 1903 in very fine condition overall with all orig parts in finish. CONDITION: Receiver has 98-99% orig finish with bolt body being polished. Bbl has 98% orig finish with wear being around front sight from a cover or a rack. Both front & middle bands have 98-99% of orig finish as does rear sight assembly & base. Trigger guard & floorplate are blued & in about 85% condition with the wear being predominately on floorplate. Wood is in fine condition with one small dent on bottom of stock, approx. 5-1/2” from tip. Finger grooves are nice & crisp, as is the “WES” cartouche. Buttplate is fine checkered as would be at this time. Bore is bright & shiny & shows very little use. 4-57790 BK28 (2,000-4,000)
