TWO SIGNED HAWKES CUT & ETCHED BOWLS & DECANTER. Late 19th/early 20th century. 1) Small bowl with everted rim, floral decorated. Sides simulating water in which swim three turtles. Signed in the bottom center with etched “Hawkes” insignia. 2) Larger bowl etched and cut with four reserves of floral filled basket, urn and cornucopia. Signed in the bottom center with etched “Hawkes” insignia. 3) Slender decanter decorated overall with floral sprays alternating with drapery swags complete with hollow blown stopper. SIZE: Bowls 7″ dia and 8″ dia, respectively. Decanter 14″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Both bowls are very good with overall surface dirt. Decanter is very good with wear to underside base rim. 9-23312 (300-500)
