CURRIER & IVES (Publisher, 19th Century) FOUR COLORED LITHOGRAPHS. 1) Small folio “Bound to Shine” showing a black couple in horse drawn carriage splitting two others on the road. After a painting by Thomas Worth. Sight: 13″ x 17″. 2) Small folio “The Boss of the Road” shows a black man with umbrella and jug in center of road with two carriages having mishap beside. After a painting by Thomas Worth. Sight: 13″ x 17″. 3) Small folio “The Old Oaken Bucket” shows a man at a well with a bucket. Sight: 10-1/2″ x 14-1/2″. 4) Small folio “Silver Cascade-White Mountains” scene shows a man fishing by a river amongst trees. Sight: 9-1/2″ x 13-1/2″. All in period frames. SIZE: As noted above.
