*SCARCE COLT CAMP PERRY SINGLE SHOT TARGET PISTOL. Cal. 22. SN 2442. Blue finish with 8” bbl, adjustable front & rear sights with checkered walnut, silver medallion grips. This unusual pistol was built to resemble a revolver but in sgl shot. Bbl & area that resembles the cyl, even with flutes, swings to the left when the cyl latch is opened. Ejector rod works in the normal manner to eject the sgl cartridge. Only about 2,525 of these pistols were made in period 1920-1941. Accompanied by an unmarked Colt, deep maroon, hinged lid box. CONDITION: Pistol is near new, appears to be unfired. Retains about 99% strong, orig Colt blue with only the faintest of sharp muzzle edge wear. Grips are crisp with sharp diamond points. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. Box is missing front edge of top with fuzzed, worn & taped corners. 4-30638 JR393 (2,500-4,000)
