LOT OF TWO SMITH & WESSON 2ND MODEL SAFETY HAMMERLESS REVOLVERS. Cal. 38 S&W. SN 7470 & 27644. Nickel finish, 3-1/4″ keyhole bbls, half-moon front sights, case colored triggers and deep S&W gold medallion pearl grips. (1) SN 7470. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Retains 95-96% strong bright orig nickel with a few scattered fine scratches, light muzzle and sharp edge wear. Trigger guard retains about 98% orig blue and the trigger about 75% case colors. Grips are bright with great fire, good mechanics, bright shiny bore. (2) SN 27644. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Retains 96-97% strong bright orig nickel with a few spots of scattered fine rust mostly on the sideplate and flutes of the cylinder with a few scattered light scratches and light muzzle edge wear. Grips are extremely beautiful with lots of fire. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bore with one or two small spots. 4-53872 JR505 (1,500-2,500)
