**BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFLE M1918A2 ON GROUP IND. RECEIVER (FULLY TRANSFERABLE). SN 00195. Cal. 30-06. 25″ bbl (27-1/4″ with flash hider). M1918A2 with New England Arms parts on Group Industries registered rcvr. Accessories include one spare magazine, and one New England marked bbl with good bore. Action operates very smoothly when cycled by hand. Mag fits snugly in mag well. Bipod legs swivel smoothly. Buttplate shoulder rest also rotates smoothly. PROVENANCE: Alan Brown Collection. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance is mint, no evidence of it having ever been fired since re-manufacture of New England parts onto Group Industries receiver. Smooth, gray Parkerized finish on receiver is an attractive contrast to the somewhat darker finish on the bbl. Sling is likewise in as new condition. Simply put, condition is impossible to upgrade. Wood fore end has no handling marks, nor does the composition buttstock. Bore is excellent, shiny and bright. Spare bbl, marked 7-44, has dark black finish, bore is shiny and bright. 4-39388 (10,000-15,000)
