*SCARCE SMITH & WESSON 44 HAND EJECTOR 1ST MODEL TRIPLE LOCK REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Special. Nickel finish, 4” bbl, fixed sights, with square butt diamond checkered, medallion walnut grips. SN 13670. CONDITION: Very good, all matching except the grips which are from another revolver. Retains about 80% bright nickel with light muzzle wear and some peeling on the sideplate. The left side of the frame has a small patch of fine pitting. Grips show heavy wear. Strong bright bore with one or two spots of pitting, will not hold at full cock, otherwise mechanics are fine. 4-48234 JR284 (Anderson Collection) (400-700)
