INTERESTING ANTIQUE WINDSOR STYLE CANDLESTAND. The round top with molded edge and single bottom cleat. Central turned shaft screws into top and bottom. The bottom with a round base having three incised circles at edge supported by four nicely turned short splay legs. What appears to be its original dark finish. Bottom of stand has old writing “Property of Marie E. Jones, Yuma, AZ Left in care of my cousin …Mrs. Allen 1917 …”. Rare form in desirable condition makes this a very attractive stand. SIZE: 27-1/2” h x 12-1/2” dia. CONDITION: Very good. Some finish loss to top. 9-26134 (400-600)
