BOND FLINTLOCK BOXLOCK PISTOL WITH SNAP BAYONET AND BELT HOOK. NSN. 50 Cal. 2-7/8” oct bbl. Marked in Gothic “E. Bond 45 Cornhill London” on top of the bbl. Birmingham proof marks on the bottom of the bbl and frame. Engraved frame and silver buttcap. The walnut grip is checkered. The belt hook was apparently an afterthought as it is mounted on top of the engraving. The triangular bayonet blade is 3-5/8” long. CONDITION: Smooth gray patina overall. Minor bruises to the checkering on the grip. Mechanically fine. Wm. Hancock Collection 4-58611 FS624 (1,250-1,750)
