COLT MEDIUM FRAME LIGHTNING RIFLE. Cal. 38WCF. Standard rifle with 26″ round bbl, full magazine, silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. Checkered forearm, uncheckered stock with straight grip and crescent steel buttplate. SN 30259. CONDITION: About very good. Bbl and mag tube retains 80-85% thinning blue-brown with minor nicks and dings. Receiver retains 85-90% thin original blue with scattered light surface spotting. Forearm has a crack, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of its original oil finish. Strong bright bore with scattered pitting. 4-46512 JR129 (2,000-3,000)
