COLT MODEL 1862 POLICE REVOLVER. SN 813, matching except wedge, which has no number. Cal. .36, 6-1/2″ round bbl. The ivory grips on the gun are placements. The original matching wood grips accompany gun. CONDITION: Traces of blue and case hardening color mostly gray-brown patina. Backstrap has considerable silver plating, trigger guard has strong traces. Original grips are worn on the high spots and retain about 30% of the original varnish. Ivory grips fit very well and have light natural cracks at the base but are still solid. 4-46359 FS92 (1,250-2,250)
