INDIAN TIGER HUNTING ILLUSTRATION ATTRIBUTED TO LYNN BOGUE HUNT. Very nice black and white acrylic, 22-3/8″ x 11-3/4″ image of a tiger hunting scene with three elephants and their Mahouts and Howdahs with two white hunters, in each in a grassy jungle scene. The elephant and hunters in the foreground are being attacked by a tiger while a white hunter in the Howdah of a fourth, unseen, elephant is preparing to shoot. In the background are several beaters in white clothing. The scene captures in great detail the terror of the attack registered on the face of the hunters, the Mahout and the elephants. Nicely matted and framed. Although this illustration is unsigned, it is most certainly the work of Hunt. CONDITION: Excellent. Fine crisp image with clean and clear colors.
