Large, framed oil painting with 27-1/2″ x 20-1/2″ vertical image of a cowboy on horseback with drawn Colt forcing another cowboy over a cliff. In the foreground, as part of the cliff face, is a skull with a flying vulture. Accompanying this painting is a copy of the January 1948 “Western Story” Magazine bearing this image. CONDITION: The image is sharp and clear and the colors crisp and bright with some slight finish crackling to the lower half of the image. 4-45350 JL419 (1,250-1,750)
