SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1795 FLINTLOCK WITH BAYONET AND MARYLAND SURCHARGE. CAL. 69. 44-1/2” bbl, 1800 date on buttplate tang. “MARYLAND” branded into the forearm in large letters. NSN CONDITION: Rust-brown patina overall. Excellent re-conversion using old parts. The mainspring has a wedge stiffener. The stock has numerous repaired cracks and chips. The t-slot bayonet has unreadable inspector marks. The bore is poor. The lock is good. 4-43769 FS2 (1,500-3,000)
