Qing Dynasty, China. The large wood lacquer carving depicts seated Guanyin in dehyanasana, hands in mudra, dressed in lose robe, eyes closed with stern expression. SIZE: 45″ h x 34″ l x 25″ w. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection from a renowned Taiwanese Diplomatic Family – Cai Wanjun (? – 2011), Xu Shaochang (1913–1999), and Ye Gongchao (1904 – 1981).
