The rounded shallow sides indented to form ten-petal lobes, covered overall with opaque glaze suffused with wide dark crackles and filled with finer network of golden brown crackles, six spur marks on base. Accompanied by photocopies of some photographs of Capt. Pearce along with a a photocopy of a “Map of Kyoto and Vicinity with Shopping Directory”, presumably the shops he visited. SIZE: 5″ dia.
