*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 TRAPPER CARBINE. Cal. 44WCF. Standard carbine with 15″ round bbl, full magazine, carbine front sight with carbine ladder rear sight. It has a short trapper forearm with straight stock and smooth carbine steel buttplate and a staple and saddle ring on left side of receiver. Accompanied by an ATF letter dated November 13th, 1981 specifically listing this carbine and exempting it from the purview of the National Firearms Act. SN 998461. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl and magazine tube retain 96-97% strong bright original blue. Receiver retains 35-40% flaked blue with the balance a brownish patina. Wood is sound and retains most of its original factory finish.
