*SCARCE WINCHESTER MODEL 21 CUSTOM GRADE SHOTGUN.

SN 27912. Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4″ chambers with 26″ steel bbls with full length matted top rib and steel center bead and red front bead marked “Custom Built by Winchester”. Jeweled water table with standard Model 21 markings as are jeweled bbl flats and chokes marked “WS1-WS2”. Gold plated SST, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Straight grip buttstock of flame grained American walnut with vacant gold oval at toe is checkered in 3-pt pattern and finished with checkered butt. Flat side receiver is nicely, lightly scroll engraved in standard “Custom Grade” engraving pattern. A near identical example of which can be seen on page 284 of the book “Winchesters Finest the Model 21 by Ned Schwing“. Bottom of receiver, trigger plate and trigger guard are also lightly scroll engraved. Beaver tail forearm checkered in 5-pt pattern with light scroll engraving near roll type release and black triangular ebony insert at tip. Weight: 6 lbs. 9 oz. Drop at comb: 1-7/16″, drop at heel: 2-1/4″. LOP: 14”. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, near new, likely test fired only. Retains nearly all of its bright orig finish to both wood and metal. Only visible wear noted is trigger shows minute flaking in plating and beginning toning at trigger guard tang.
