NSN. Cal. 51. 7″ Octagon bbl is unmarked. Patent breech has gold band and scroll engraving. Lock with back sliding safety and flat faced hammer has sprigs of scroll engraving with “S. Nock” in front of hammer. Dense, walnut full stock has flat sided butt flanked by closely spaced checkering with mullered borders. CONDITION: Good, as refinished. Bbl is a dark gray brown. Lockplate temper blued. Hammer a possible replacement, as engraving does not match well. Stock is refinished, sharp edges slightly rounded, with repair to fore piece.
