*RARE PARKER .410 “DHE” GAME GUN WITH BEAVERTAIL FOREND AND SINGLE TRIGGER.

SN 235856. Cal. 410. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 000 Frame. 26″ Bbls are marked “PARKER BROS MAKERS, MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL” on slightly raised, matted game rib. Bbl flats are stamped with Parker proofs, grade, weight, and steel type (although “T” in a circle appears to have been obliterated). Case hardened action with all correct marks on water table, features non-automatic safety and single selective Parker trigger. Action is engraved in typical “D” style with 80% coverage varying sized scroll with geometric and small scroll borders surrounding scenes of setter on left, pointer on right, and group of four pheasant on trigger plate. “PARKER BROS” is on scrolled ribbon on each side of action. Scroll engraved trigger guard has SN on tang. Nicely crotch figured American walnut Parker Meriden capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over skeleton steel buttplate. Typical lozenge shaped drop points are behind side panels, and point pattern checkering is at grip. A large vacant silver oval is on toe line. Matching beavertail ejector forend without reinforcing bolt, has typical latch, and patent date stamped on iron. Bore diameters at muzzles: left -.398, right – .400. Wall thickness: left – .035, right – .035. Drop at heel: 2-3/16″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Cast: Neutral. Weight: 6 lbs. 2 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. This gun matches most specifications as listed in the PARKER GUN IDENTIFICATION AND SERIALIZATION ledger (beavertail forend and single trigger not specified). Twin ivory bead sights.
