Both 19th century, Japan. With lacquered scabbards and mixed metal accessories. Lacquer stand circa 1900 with scene of songbirds flying over the ocean shore. SIZE: Katana: 39″ l. Wakizashi: 27-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Wakizashi with small chips and surface abrasions. Katana, the tang reduced and blade possibly cut down. Surface abrasions overall.
