*FINE PERAZZI MX 20 “EXTRA” OVER-UNDER GAME GUN WITH FINE ENGRAVING AND EXCEPTIONAL GAME SCENES BY CREATIVE ART, WITH CASE.

SN 94704. Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 26″ Mono-bloc bbls with narrow, ventilated rib, are marked “Perazzi BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY” on left side of top bbl. Bottom flat is stamped with 1996 Italian nitro proofs. Coin finished, low profile, OU action with gold-plated selective single trigger, is engraved with near full coverage relief large open scroll in shaded background with floral and cattail accents. Exceptionally fine bulino duck scenes by Creative Art are on bottom of action as well as lockplates where they continue onto sides. Bottom scene is of a group of mallards flying over lake. This scene is under grade “EXTRA” inlaid in gold. Left side depicts another flock of mallards taking wing from marshy border of lake with large tree in background. Cattails are at forward portion of action around trunnions. The mallard theme continues onto right side with a flock of five settling in to similar background. A flying mallard is on top lever pivot with another on trigger guard bow, both with cattail accents. This almost photographically detailed and attractive work is by Creative Art with signature on trigger plate. Exhibition quality, burl and stump figured and extravagantly marbled European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-1/16″ over fully checkered wood butt. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching slim one piece field forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.628, bottom – .628. Bore restrictions: top – .033 (full), bottom – .019 (mod). Drop at heel: 1-13/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Cast: approx 1/4″ off. Weight: 6 lbs. 8 oz. LOP: 14-1/16″. Red ABS leather trimmed Perazzi marked case is lined in Perazzi marked cloth, and contains a stock removal tool. CONDITION: Excellent, very near to new, with only a few light handling and assembly marks in wood and metal, and appears unfired since proof. Mechanically crisp. Case is excellent.
