AESTHETIC STYLE MARQUETRY SIDE CABINET WITH MARBLE TOP.

20th century. Green and black Breschia marble top with stepped molded edges and canted corners. Above the conforming case, with a central frieze drawer over two long drawers with a central panel of marquetry decorated with overflowing baskets and urns of fruit and flowers. Case sides in curve. The cabinet gilt metal mounted overall with floral swags and with garlands. Case raised on shaped tapering gilt metal mounts, acanthus carved. SIZE: 37-1/2″ h x 61″ l x 20-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Marble top with chip to proper right center front, over frieze drawer. Shrinkage crack in marquetry panel. Otherwise very good with metal mounts intact. 49421-21 (1,500-2,000) – Lot 3367
