1) WALTHER P38. SN 4328. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked “P.38”, “ac/41” and SN on left side of slide. Marked “ac” on left trigger guard web. Eagle 359 inspected. Matching frame, bbl and slide. Dark brown Bakelite grips. This gun is described on p. 232, pictured p. 233 in The P.38 Pistol, Vol. I by Warren Buxton. Eagle 359 “P.38” marked magazine. SN’d magazine is not matching to the gun. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster marked “cww”, eagle swastika WaA 750 “1941”, “P38″ on back. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good plus with a good amount of its orig thinning high luster blue. Markings all clear. Excellent grips. Excellent bore. Excellent working order. Holster has some scratches and scuff marks, stitching is solid, markings are clear. C&R 2) WALTHER AC/41 P38. SN 2516b. Cal. 9mm. 5” bbl. Marked on left side of slide “P.38”, “ac/41”, SN. Eagle 359 inspected. “ac” marked on left trigger web. Matching numbers on bbl, slide, and frame. Brown Bakelite grips. “P.38v” eagle 359 marked magazine. Accompanied by black leather Luger holster marked on back “gfg/1941” eagle swastika WaA101, “P.08”. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good. Gun appears to be arsenal redone. Light pinprick pitting under dull military blued finish. All markings clear. Bore has light pitting. Grips have light handling marks. Magazine may be refinished. Holster is fine with light scuff marks, strong stitching, no tool. Holster markings are strong. C&R IMPORT 3) AC 41/WALTHER P38. SN 9824b. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked “P.38”, “ac/41”, SN on left side of slide. Eagle 359 inspected on slide and bbl. Bbl and slide having orig matching SNs, frame SN is arsenal overstamped. There is an “a” after the SN on slide and bbl. Eagle 135 inspected on frame. Brown Bakelite grips. “P.38” eagle 135 marked magazine. Accompanied by black leather flap holster marked on back “P38/jwa/41”. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Gun is fine as arsenal refurbished. Light pitting under finish on bbl. Markings are clear. Excellent bore. Excellent grips. Excellent working order. Holster is fine with light scuff marks, strong stitching, clear markings.
