Daum vase has cameo violet flowers, stems and leaves set against a mottled background of purple shading to cream. The vase is further decorated with a band of scrolls and leaves around the bottom with cameo bands encircling the foot. The bottom decoration is further enhanced by gilded outlines. Signed on the underside with lightly etched signature “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: Private New England Collection.
