GROUP OF FOUR SMALL ORIENTAL RUGS.

Second half 20th century, central Persia. The group includes three small indo-Tabriz rugs and a Northwest Persian. The first wrought with a chandelier above a floral filled vessel within a mihrab on a ivory field within an indigo main border of collonettes alternating with floral filled urns. The second overall with dense delicate floral vinery of muted shades of red, green, and blue-gray on an ivory field. The main border of muted jade green with dense polychrome floral vinery. The third with three rows of five arabesque medallions on a midnight blue field within a beige border of scrolling blue-black indigo meandering vines on an ivory ground. The fourth with poled stylized floral central medallion within a latch hook border all within a midnight blue main border of latch hook lattice work alternating with geometric crab devices. The whole in earth tones with wine red and midnight blue fields. SIZE: 1) 2’7″ x 4’1″. 2) 2’11” x 4’3″. 3) 2’7-1/2″ x 3’8″. 4) 3’7″ x 5’11”. CONDITION: Tabriz scatter rugs in very good condition overall with no restoration. The second with losses to fringe.
