Daum vase has opalescent body with cameo seagulls in flight which are further decorated with gray enamel defining the feathers, a gray enamel sea turtle raises its head from the ocean below while a seagull flies in front of a setting sun with cameo sun rays highlighted with gilding. Vase is signed on the underside in gold “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 7-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: Private New England Collection.
